That's what I'm afraid of. It's unnatural.

Why scary as is?

First smell, first taste is a kick to the face, then suddenly very pleasant. Super dominant by itself but goes well with other strong tastes like fried beef. I'm not talking about granny's homemade sweet Kimchi, I mean the German bastardization of its former allie's arch enemy culture. Kimchi dominates and I'm weirdly attracted to it. Scary.
