Honestly this whole transcript is so bizarre. I have no theories. Just that it reads so badly. No one speaks like a this, surely.
I can only read this as a someone writing knowing it will be used as evidence in the near future. Even then, it's still pretty bizarre.

When you step back and realize that in a single text message conversation, the suspect lays out in explicit detail: his motive, the fact he acted alone, the specific weapon and where he hid it, and unique marks on the shell casings -- this is an awfully convenient piece of evidence.
