I may be an idiot (yestr) but it seems like this whole funding issue boils down to whether sending permissionless money directly to whoever you want to support is enough,
or whether people/bitcoiners are so stingey that they generally would not donate to any project no matter how kewl unless it’s wrapped up in a pretty package and marketed by individuals they admire

How much is enough? At what point am I giving more than I should hodl? I like open sats because it allows you to write off your taxes so you don’t have to try and guess these things.
