User flight is the threat that will ultimately keep clients honest.

It's just too easy for users to flee bad stewards of the #Nostr web.

This will only happen so long as users are noticing the bad behavior.

Use multiple clients and you will quickly see which ones are censoring.

Users can only flee, if there is someplace to flee to.

True. We can always use more good clients.

Yes, the sheer number of "clients" is large, but how many of them are dead projects, or are too buggy to be useful?

That said, there's a pretty solid list of available clients for my primary OS (Android), and not all of them are too buggy to be useful. 😂

I was thinking about this today. It’s just like 2A, the optionality changes the game dynamics.

The biggest threat for nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg isn't that users discover their evil plan to destroy #Nostr, it's that users leave as the result of a social attack launched by competitors.
