I have a good friend that is a fishing guide. Great man but a "Murica Fuck Yea" type.

A friend and I chartered him and were talking about tipping in cash so he'd not pay taxes. He said "I report everything including cash tips".

My bud and I went Soup Nazi on him, "NO TIP FOR YOU"!

The only reason I was even paying the trip cost on a card is to game the tax system and make it a write off for "client entertainment", which it absolutely was.

Wonder what he thinks now about Biden going after servers for 100% tip reporting? Because of course he hates Biden and socialism. 🙄

As long as he can feel the pain eventually he too will turn to a solution. Might be fully off grid though, who knows.
