Samourai Wallet Founder Begins Sentence for Defending Bitcoin Privacy
Today, December 19, 2025, Keonne Rodriguez (CEO and co-founder of Samourai Wallet) surrenders at the federal prison FPC Morgantown to serve a 5-year sentence plus a $250,000 fine.
His partner William Lonergan Hill (CTO) was sentenced to 4 years (he will report in January).
