You’re always renting the land from the State.
100% bullshit argument. When you're renting you're paying your landlord's property tax anyway. Still better by far to own than to rent.

I’d rather own 50 btc than 20 acres and a house (depending on location and property values obviously).
The time to sell digital and buy real property will be there but for now I’d rather own stuff that can’t be taken from me until we see how this social situation shakes out.
When you pay rent you’re paying someone else’s mortgage and cost of the property plus some cap rate (call it 10%). When you want to leave you buyout your lease or let it expire.
When you own it you’re paying the same thing less the cap rate plus you tie up a significant amount of equity and make yourself a slave to a bank for 15-30 years. When you want out you pay 6% to sell and 6% to get into a new thing. Change costs are real. No thanks
