The recent Zeus Wallet (v.0.11.0) adds eCash functionality tied to a free Lightning address.

This means you can use the Zeus Bitcoin wallet to easily to send and receive zaps over Nostr without coming up with the $100+ needed with traditional Lightning wallets.

Note: Bitcoin eCash is a custodial wallet, but ZEUS reminds you of that.

If your eCash wallet gets fat, you can transfer the sats to the ZEUS Lightning or the ZEUS On-chain wallet to ensure your Bitcoin is in your control under your keys.

Beneifits:

- Receive sats instantly (No liquidity worries)

- Free Lightning address, even for 1-sat zaps

- ZEUS guides you to self-custody when it makes sense

Cons:

- eCash is custodial

- Zeus eCash wallet is slow to open up (for now)
