Many things I disagreed with, but I guess that one that stuck out was this,

That not only are the plebs and node runners wrong, and don't matter.

No, you actually don't even exist!

You're not a real person, the community uproar is just fake accounts.

Actually the majority position is that of Core.

And you should stop worrying that pretty little head of yours, and get with the program.

That's some pretty hardcore gaslighting. And very disingenious.

He is conflating that because the majority of the wider Bitcoin universe are not outspoken for knots, then they are pro core v30.

No, there is an information gap in Bitcoin. And these people speaking up, are the only way this information gap gets solved.

If you are talking about the engaged people in the debate , then the knots side IS bigger.

You don't get to take the silent majority side as "pro change" just because they're not paying attention.

AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM with a TRUSTED DEFAULT IMPLEMENTATION.

THE TRUST IS NOT FREE.

Well said. Generally speaking I like nostr:nprofile1qqs0w2xeumnsfq6cuuynpaw2vjcfwacdnzwvmp59flnp3mdfez3czpsprpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezumr0wpczuum0vd5kzmp0ksxxx2, I have learned a lot from his Bitcoin resources and hes messaging on opsec is important, but I agree he tends to generalize people he disagrees with too much... As in, he presumes to know, inherently, why everyone disagrees with his opinion, and therefore does not need to listen to what they have to say.

My first long form nostr note was actually responding (sort of) to his blog post on Bitcoin maximalism.

I read your piece.

I think for me, the function of bitcoin maximalism, is to to have a focal point for a unifying narrative.

Basically layer 0 of Bitcoin is the social layer, the culture.

And that culture needs some values.

We are trying to come to terms and solidify what those core values are.
