Asking the devs and plebs, I'm very curious about running my own node. My first question is do I need to beef up my internet connection before I start setting up my node?
My internet connection leaves alot to be desired. I have a cheap router, maybe an upgrade is required but to what?

nah any shit connection will do fine, don't overthink it. buy small cheap pc, run simple software, done.

bitcoin was designed to be able to run off the worst setup possible, lol
if it ran in 2010 with ancient pc and connections it will run fine now lol
