So if you or I donate funds to the devs do they get them or not?
I have donated so I already know the answers. Saylor has no effect. People make their own choices.
Sure people make their own choices but ark would have donated if saylor didn’t intervene. So saylor influenced a decision that led to a withdrawal of a large donation. He has an effect. In the long run sure it won’t matter, but this slows down progress.
Why be mad at Saylor tho? Makes more sense to be upset with Ark if it's true, but even if it is true Ark has no obligation to donate money to them. No one has that obligation. Some of us do becsuse we want too and plenty more will.
This just seems like another round of Bitcoiners getting wound up over nothing to me.
I like Saylor and think he has brought huge amounts of attention to the space and no I dont agree with all hist takes, but he us for sure a net positive in my book.
Like I said before, I’m salty that I fell for his bs. But fuck him and fuck ark.
