#laserrayuntil100k or something like that. I forget who started it but it spread like wildfire until you started seeing shitcoiners and normies with laser eyes on their profile pics lol

Ah, my apologies. I shouldn't assume that everyone in nostr is a bitcoiners 😅

A 'shitcoin' is a colloquial term within Bitcoin circles for people who own, trade, or shill digital tokens that are not Bitcoin.

Normies is just slang for people who haven't woken up to [insert truth here], but in this context it means those who have not yet adopted Bitcoin as a long term savings vehicle.

That's the great thing about nostr - it's for everyone! There's just an outsized number of bitcoiners here because there is a lot of overlap between Bitcoin and freedom tech like nostr.
