Russia was a nuclear superpower when they were defeated in Chechnya the first time.

Hell, we all defeated the USSR during the Cold war. Multiple times, including Afghanistan. The USSR simply fell apart rather than firing off a single nuke.

There's a good chance that due to economic hardship and internal corruption Russia's nuclear weapons don't even work. And obviously, we have nukes too, and western countries have made clear that they consider any nuclear attack on Ukraine to be a nuclear attack on all of Europe: fallout.

Anyway, you're an idiot for believing a grifter like Davis. As is usual with grifters, he makes money publishing contrarian sounding lies.

Corruption doesn't do much to reduce the strength of a government, on the contrary, it often strengthens it. I am entirely unconvinced by this. You seem to not understand the basic economics of the Soviet Union.
