Money is supposed to be boring. When's the last time you had a very interesting discussion about the format of a ruler? Money is just the ruler of an economy.
I agree, Bitcoin should be boring, I just didn’t expect it to happen so fast. Hardware wallets, segwit, and especially lightning were very exciting times.
