If 2025 is the year of favorable US #bitcoin regulation, and institutions/US will just start to really accumulate, and other countries will just begin to play catch up, how in the world can a typical bear market start in 2026?

Even if 2025 sees a retail surge and crash— it’s not like their capital matches what non retail is likely putting in either of those two years.

You’d have to believe institutions and countries are going to behave like speculative retail did in previous cycles. It’s hard for me to see that happening.

Yeah I was wondering about this too. I'm really unsure. They have deep pockets for liquidity to pour into supporting the price, but still, some are gonna be believers, some are gonna be zombies going in only a certain amount programmatically, and some are gonna be bearish pulling out the moment prices turn downward.

I imagine we could get custodian rug pulls across the globe, too, or political swings in the other direction. Could be messy. Not making any strong prediction here, just trying to wrap my head around it.

But I’m also someone who can’t understand how bitcoin isn’t yet above $500k lmao

Yeah I get ya. Most people are slow to catch on. They're not curious types. That's why it's not $500K yet.
