I have been teaching a group of seniors at our church about Bitcoin the last few months. We worked through My First Bitcoin and nostr:npub177pm5wcjhy0rwk46vk2qzkushk2l0cfjkq7v33x99ns20sm24dfqfdj2tk ‘s The Bible and Bitcoin.

In the end, most bought BTC and took custody. I was thrilled that many wanted to continue meeting to learn more.

Today, we agreed to go through Brain De Mint’s Bitcoin Evangelism, a chapter per meeting.

Be encouraged that Christians and seniors can understand, and find the value of, BTC, both morally and technically. Go slow, be extremely patient, and give one on one attention when needed. It’s worth it.

Evangelism isn't for newbies. He still leaves the door open for shitcoin possibilities in the future and didn't leave it dead on arrival. Youre going to be spending time trying to explain why he's wrong about DAOs etc in the book. Thanks. I’m aware there will be places to debunk. We’ve been debunking everything but BTC all the way through. Figured it would give them an opportunity to see it while we debunk in real time. Maybe a risky strategy, but I think we can pull it off. I will check out GiGi’s book.👊🏻

I just recently went through that book is why at the recommendation of so many others who said it was a good one to read. Was very let down by these ideas that he left open as possible avenues for " innovation" but given his shitcoin start up background i can see why.
