How does this work...

She has a credit card with maybe 2k spent on it. She then goes to the check out and deposits 1k onto her credit card in cash to reduce the balance?

I reckon she runs a cash generating retail business, maybe an Indian restaurant, and pays the maximum cash she can each month off her personal CC.
