Mask bans are a tactic of #surveillance and control. Not only do they infringe upon people’s rights to health, safety, #privacy, and #accessibility, they cause disproportionate harm to racially marginalized + #disabled people.

By creating a chilling effect on masking and ample opportunities for harassment and profiling, mask bans gravely escalate the life-threatening impacts of police violence, doxxing, #COVID, and #LongCOVID. They have no place on college campuses.
