Not to be forgotten: though the exact percentages have been disputed, as Amanda Becker writes, from 47-52% of white women voted for Trump in 2016 — in either case, more than voted for Hillary — and in 2020, the female electorate was largely unchanged when it came to choosing Biden or Trump.

Black and Hispanic women are, of course, a very different story.
