I was a bit skeptical the second fan would help. But I live in a hot climate and a 1950’s brick home. The thermal regulators both ran very hot. The heat sink + the fan blowing on the thermal regulators have done an awesome job of cooling.

Everyone has their own circumstances so overkill is relative.
