I need some clarification on this:

I heard someone say Bitcoin was not really limited because in the future it could be that sats could be fractionised. So there could be ways to spend 0.01 sat. And if thats true, why not split it up to 0.00000001 sats. So btc would be divided almost by infinity.

Can some clever mind tell me that this is not the case and why? πŸ˜…

at the moment the smallest denomination is one satoshi. in the future it could be fractionalized into 1/10, 1/100 even 1/000 satoshi or more. it would require a change of the code of the bitcoin blockchain
