Expansion of the number and capacity of the Hydranode channels is underway. I probably wouldn't call it a switch to off-chain resources like my colleague Andrej Cabaj, but rather a purchase of on-chain resources paid for by off-chain resources plus a small increase that allows us to offer an increase in transaction routing fees.
