it seems some of you missed the meanings of Tolkiens Ring of Power metaphor.
Only a nobody, with no interest in power, can be trusted to take Empire into the fires of hell where it was created, and destroy it.
The rest of you cocky know it alls would be consumed by it in short order, doing the same corrupt things and worse.

i would say im more a C.S Lewis, Frank Herbert, Louis Lamour, and book of Isaiah guy. But Tolkien guy is fine for government work❤️

I read all of his little paperback westerns, and his Sacket series. Lots of researched history and lore in his books.

schoot Connie this was years ago & to be honest they all mostly have the same scheme. i was like 9 or 10 yrs old but a lot of real facts in the Indian(native american) way with geography bonus.

speaking of classification, there is a picture of me, about 1 year old, in a stroller, holding a copy of Albert Camus’ “Resistance, Rebellion, and Death.” pretty sure i wasnt reading Camus at 1, but the picture makes me laugh.
