He talked about no taxes on tips and overtime first. I think he might have to clean the swamp a bit more before congress passes removal of income taxes.

The fact is, he can't cut taxes and fund the US military, which he apparently adores. Tariffs aren't coming close to the Pentagon budget. So he dangles things out there to the people he knows he can't deliver. It creates false hope and will eventually make people desperate enough to accept a cbdc in exchange for now or low taxes.
From what I'm hearing from all the broke ass people at work, people are going to get an overtime tax break this year. Going to be retroactive but might max out at only $10K or something like that. Either way it's just a start.
Best way to reduce the military buget (Clinton did a bunch of hack and slash) is to first reduce the threat or more efficient equipment. I'm sure we don't need as many over seas bases in the future.
we could reduce our 750 military bases overseas by 75%, save a boatload of cash, and be just fine.
In other words, end this ridiculous empire.
