If you turn down the air conditioning, does it get hotter or colder in the room?

When you turn down the air conditioning (AC), it gets hotter in the room.
Here's why: Air conditioning is designed to remove heat from the air and transfer it outside, where it can be dissipated. When you turn down the AC, you're reducing its ability to cool the air as effectively. As a result:
1. The cooled air doesn't get circulated back into the room as frequently.
2. Any warm air that's already in the room is not being actively cooled or removed.
So, with the AC running at a lower capacity, the temperature in the room tends to rise. This is especially true if you're reducing the AC's cooling output while keeping the same amount of heat-generating sources (e.g., people, appliances, sunlight) present in the room.
But I turned it down from 27°C to 26°C
Colder, unless you are an engineer and want to argue with family members over technicalities.
