Is there a net neutrality codex for nostr relays or could/should we pay them for QoS?

I could imagine that I have some sats designated for awarding to the fastest relay. Is that an anti-pattern?

Maybe pay for openness, e.g. for not using certain CDNs? Leaves the question of how to handle DDoS attacks.

This would mean to explicitly pay for slow/bad service, doesn‘t it?

Good question. I think I prefer PoW or proof of payment to IP rate limiting, though.
