That is absolutely horrifying… I am so sorry. I hope those perpetrators burn so hard in hell that they disappear into nothing.
You seem to have a sharp mind, something no one could ever take away.
The human body is a big healer. If you’re not entirely a senior citizen, your body is regenerating its tissues into something new.
If you’re serious about your desire to speak and sing again, there are so many surgeries available to the vocal box & esophagus or whatever is needed to get the results you need. A lot of people post-accident don’t get the right and focused aftercare they need for recovery because the medical world doesn’t seem to have healing on their list.
The greatest vocalists to have ever lived, RIP Tina Turner, have experienced the most anguish ❤️ and turmoil 🫂 in their life… which,
Brings me to Chet Baker. He was reborn when he sung like an angel after being beaten down by drugs & the industry… he inspires me to find me voice by a quote Miles Davis (his nemesis said): “it takes a lifetime to find your voice - if you do…” (paraphrase) & ironically, Chet Baker did, despite terrifying physical injury when he made this cover “My Funny Valentine.”
This song rivals any new song today.
After my own injuries I have found, I touch people even more deeply in my own pain then I ever did belting out in the Opera Chambers.
Sometimes you just have that voice people want to hear… 🥹
I wish I could hear yours, but from our exchanges… your wisdom has touched me so deeply 🙏🏽
Hey, we’re only whooman, right?
Humans can be new again.
