Odd how anything they do in China somehow immediately makes it way to the US. Cattle, dolphins. So I guess it's safe to say, this new strain somehow magically escaped the lab in China (again) and instantly jumped on a long distance flight to Florida.
Who knows where they come from? There's probably informal labs owned by Foreign Sovereigns all over the US. There were Chinese "Bio Labs" found in Central California running out of an avg apartment unit.
I'd say they get developed in another country then transported to whatever "Lab" makes the attack vector useful.
