Destroy it? Maybe in a certain sense. Leverage it is more of what I'm thinking. If they destroy it, they won't make any long term gains off of it. It's a hedged bet. Either fiat lives and they make residual gains somehow, or fiat dies and they are bitcoin rich, charging people to buy it for them.
