1. Because I take care and live with my father, he insists on paying for the house expenses (food, electricity and household goods). I pay for everything else.
2. Thanks. I do lead them to believe that without actually saying it. When they ask me how much rent I pay, I show them I'm uncomfortable answering.
3. I used to use P2P site (forgot its name) similar to Hodlhodl for all my purchases and selling. But it closed down. I was lucky afterwards in that I met a group of black market FX traders who are constantly in need of either buying or selling bitcoin.

On 4. You mentioned that you would look at it in the future. I know of a few people who have felt the need to get that side set up sooner than later. So I was actually just curious if you had sorted water or solar or garden/animals ?
My own bits are patchy if we do a compare - we are debt free but pay a lot monthly because that’s how it goes here. But we have solar, water and have started our garden but I would have liked to be further along with it.

What I did (so far) is partnered (again) with my business partner of 30 years is for him to bring his BIG family and we will all live in that farm and work on it together.
We have studied the situation for a few years and have come up with a plan of max 10 years to set everything in place.
Houses, underground shelters, diesel generator, solar, storage, natural underground water source, bitcoin mining, sheep, rabbit, ostrich (no chicken), fish, many different types of fruits and vegetables and of course, security.
The trick is to over produce and give the extras to the needy and sell whatever is left.
I’d love to say please send us pics and updates but that won’t be optimal at all.

This is a main impediment to go after the grid.
Even if it is corrupted (e.g., no use going to hospital to treat covid) you still can break a leg.
That's one issue we are still trying to resolve. None of us has any medical training.
Happily, there are a lot of resources out there to learn about everything from first aid to full on Dr 😊
medical care generaly will change after the covid vaxxes.
on one hand, harm. more cancer, infections, death, costs...
on the other hand... lesser life spectancy means less costs...
not sure how it will play out.
if the system start to colapse, not having medical care will make more people give up on the system.
