This is amazing work!! Drawing is a forgiving hobby - since it requires nothing but a writing instrument and a surface to practice and can be done anywhere. As a fellow artist I encourage you to get back into it. You’ve got some serious skill AND YOURE NOT USING AI TO MAKE YOUR ART FOR YOU!!!!!
Drawing and painting have served me immeasurably since before I could talk any sense. Then I started writing, getting intentionally creative in designing my life, cooking and living with art personified ( nostr:npub1clk6vc9xhjp8q5cws262wuf2eh4zuvwupft03hy4ttqqnm7e0jrq3upup9 ) and I never looked back.
I drew this portrait 6 years ago and haven’t sat down with pencils for longer than 5 minutes since.
Fascinating how art can be such an outlet for the deepest parts of us and how fluidly the particular sorts of art we need can change with us.
