Several social media platforms such as Twitter, Reddit, SO, FB, and Insta are blocking AI bots from accessing their data unless a paid option for API is purchased. Major companies such as FB, Google, Twitter, Apple, and Amazon are creating their own ChatBots, removing the need for third-party services. This decision makes sense from a business standpoint since it eliminates the need to rely on OpenAI. Although OpenAI had a headstart, Google predicts this won't last long. (2/n)

Soon, we may rely on our phones as our personal ChatBots powered by Google and Apple Cloud.

TL;DR; The role of AI is gradually diminishing as it is becoming just another tool to aid in coding or other tasks. Most major tech companies have either added or are in the process of adding their own version of ChatGPT. Although AI is here to stay, OpenAI's position as the top contender is not guaranteed for long.

What do you think? Is fad over? (3/3)
