Paid ads trumps the small businesses!
F*ck Google, Meta, Tiktok, etc!...
I started paid ad marketing as a NOOB; on and off last 2020. I say on and off because I had to replenish my cash. The results was slow and expensive! I was not after for the quick get rich scheme! I only want to reach the right people for my business.
However, early this year, it occured to me that paid ads are effective if I have limitless cash! It occured to me that I must have a cash in exchange for clients! I also understand that organic reach is possible however, it is rare.
You must grind into the cut throat "3 SECOND RULE" and must "MASTER" the game of "Hooks" and baiting people to your "content".
I find this "MANIPULATIVE CALCULATED" tactic!
I took upon myself to read the book "The Influence, The Psychology of Persuasion" to understand how marketing works and how to avoid getting into the trap!
My point?
Marketing is not bad. We practice and we do it all the time even without knowing it. We need it to thrive.
But...
It becomes devisive when it is use solely:
* to sway your buying habits, you decision making, your outlook, your world views and IDENTITY,
* to sway you to thinking that YOU NEED IT,
* to condition you to think that because of the subtle repeated exposure of products, or by prominent personalities or phrases, it is good, absolute truth!
If you understand paid ad marketing and algorithm then you know that those who have the financial backing will get the most exposure, will be pushed to your feeds.
As a data consultant myself, I know it too well the power of data, patterns of behaviour!
It means that when a content is repeatedly pushed on your feeds, it means someone is willing to pay to get your attention!
It is not cheap!
So next time a content is pushes to you and not because you are searching for it deliberately then THINK TWICE AGAIN.
Do not fall for the propaganda! F*ck the big tech who cares nothing but their bottomline!
