Brazil has a lot of internal work to do. What we are going through now is a consequence of decisions and cultural buildup over the last 10 years. Bitcoin and freedom tech should have a much larger reach at this point, but the early communities of builders screwed everything up with their first-mover, inner-circle, and male supremacy fetishes. We need to flash mob to bring women into open-source development. This is a cyberwar. Their dreams of gaining from early-acquired Bitcoin are futile compared to the size of the challenge we have ahead of us. Women-led projects in Bitcoin development, like Scalar School — nostr:npub1v799vkkxjasjtjcrr4wh2ral5vcklqhg0tyyvc6gvfe5qfrd57mqutqrup — are more important than ever. We need more of these efforts and greater moral support from the broader community to help us address our social problems in this field.
