I urge you to research about the Gold Mine in Erzincan, Turkey.
Its not just Turkey it world wide.

It’s just sad. We recently lost 9 people in Erzincan. That’s why I was focused on there. Also that mine is threatening to poison with cyanide the entire region, from south east of Turkey to entire Persian Gulf.
Very tragic, and par for the course we slapped a few wrists and will move on. If Canadian regulations were used for such a venture it would be safer… but would affect the bottom line. the company is still able to operate because they internalize the profit and all other costs are externalized to the local population.
