We tried to do something similar in Australia, targeting Coles and Woolworths.
But their monopoly was too powerful.
Farmers don't have a union so we can't collectively bargain.
We all get ripped off. Farmers get ripped off, employees get underpaid, and consumers get ripped off.
Even with the consumer boycott and worker strikes nothing happened, before or after the boycott everyone bought extra so the profits weren't effected, and they had enough non unionised workers to make up for the strike.
Shit like this has to be extremely well organised to work.
