This is pretty much my approach, though I'm still carrying lbs I don't want. My body likes it when I work out, but my brain usually objects. There is a lot to get under control.

πŸ’― yea man, it requires a holistic approach imho. getting that baseline fitness to start enjoying exercise is very hard but worth doing.

n=1 always. for me it was a combo of yoga, calisthenics, and tempo runs. i either based my exercise for the day on how i felt when i woke up or i used an HRV monitor to tell me my readiness. Im a fan of the HRV method, it really takes the mystery out of what exercise you should be doing.
