In the short term, sure. But there is no algo here, only people. If you're trying to game the system, eventually people will see through it on here. There is no algo to trick. Only real people tapping on a screen (and ok a couple ai bots too). You're not gaming the system, you're gaming the plebs. And people tend not to appreciate that.
If people get annoyed that you're only boosting notes they've already seen 20 times in the past five minutes and nothing else, they'll just mute or unfollow you.
If you're bringing exposure for others and helping people find high quality notes they wouldn't otherwise see, then hell yeah people will be eager to engage with you.
Value for value.
You can choose to farm engagement or make real connections with people. Twitter conditioned us to please the algo. Nostr reintroduces human to human interaction.
