I've been thinking about this since Patreon and Twitch have shown that subscriptions are a powerful way to earn a living and get some kind of base income. But these centralised woke companies are notorious for deplatforming and using censorship.

Having a censorship-resistant subscription model would be very powerful indeed.

Monthly subs are perfectly fine, the incredibly important point is: there should be no fixed amounts. If you want to support someone with 1 Sat per month or with 50.000, should not make any difference. We have the possibility to implement this, we should use it.
