I had dinner with a group of my closest normie friends tonight for an early birthday celebration (HBD to me). I spend so much time with Bitcoiners, that I forget how others think about (or don't) finances. The most habitually argumentative among the group brought up his “promising returns” in XRP and ETH. You can imagine how I responded. He then attempted to counter with “Bitcoin isn't the only crypto with a fixed supply” and “real estate is the ultimate scarce asset.”
I just patted him on the back and said we'll compare notes at next year's dinner. The dinner was too delicious to argue.
