Mum update:

TL;DR: More improvement.

After leaving other weekend visitors to it, I went to visit mum in hospital today. I took her youngest grandson in with me, which of course she was delighted to see.

She was looking so much better, and was happy to talk much more. She still became tired quite quickly, and it's clear she is now ready to come home yet. But we ate hopeful she will be home for the weekend to celebrate her birthday.
