I hear you. I haven't signed on in years, but see screenshots now and then of the social side of it and am reminded why I shouldn't sign back in. I really ought to delete it. The data they harvest is some of the worst of all the Big Social platforms (now owned by Microsoft) and Reid Hoffman, one of the original co-founders is a Bilderberg guy and has connections to Epstein.
It takes more time and effort (proof of work) but when it comes to the social side of business networking, I'm much more a fan of networking with people in real life (going to conferences, finding ways of expanding existing networks in time and space), offering value in less conventional ways, and cultivating online connections in more meaningful ways.
