UBI isn’t my favorite concept. Duct tape solution maybe. However, I bet our government does it in the next few years. It certainly won’t work with dollars. Dollar is too weak. I personally think we are three years away from being completely beyond a point of return with regard to the dollar. On top of that- AI is coming for most all jobs. Scary time to be a world leader. 1 year from now- what will this country look like? Whatever the government decides to do- it will likely be a poor and slowly executed decision.
