Good jeans last, and should not be washed too frequently.

I imagine they can be one of the best items of clothing for the environment.

I personally get a lot of wear hours out of a pair of jeans.

Once they go beyond housework use and can no longer be worn, they get used for cloths and rags.

Then it's compost or fuel for the fire.
