It's concise, but I like that story.

I am a malicious puppet brought to life by a cabal of wood carvers and fairy sprites to tell amusing lies and hide from the magical gestapo under a cloud of cigar smoke and a gracious facade. In truth I am a pile of evil mesquite wood, copper fittings, and oil paints.
