Both were made by the same guy. Brave is newer and blocks ads. You probably need more than Brave though for certain sites that don't play nice. Both is better. Sometimes that's not enough either. Tor has its uses. Some sites only work well with Edge or Chrome. It's kind of like NOSTR clients. It's kind of hard to use NOSTR with just one client.
