I think that was probably the worst flight. I literally thought that was it, even the pilot's voice was shaky. Bad storm.

Remember well flying DC-9s in really bad storms back in the eighties, most pilots were ex fighter pilots back then :-)
Was even more fun when those were chartered by the army, once I’m pretty sure they pulled max bank & Gs, certainly way beyond what is SOPs these days!

Yeah I know that feeling, especially when you’re the pilot yourself…
After eating a HUGE meal, thinking that with those winds the flight would be called off…
Which ended up NOT being the case at all hahaha
