This is exactly the problem - from the 1947 UN partition plan until now, every time Israel tried to make peace, they got terror in return. Look, 20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs with equal rights living peacefully, so this isn’t about ethnicity. It’s about values. When Israel completely withdrew from Gaza in 2005, Hamas immediately took over instead of building a democracy.
The siege and poor conditions don’t help, but the core issue is that the Arab political culture in the region isn’t based on Western democratic values, and that’s extremely difficult to change. Israel is the only country in the entire Middle East with real human rights, women’s equality, and gay rights - that’s not a coincidence. Without embracing democratic, humanistic principles, it’s very hard to achieve peace. That fundamental cultural difference has been sabotaging progress for 75+ years.
Calling your dumb problems "terror" won't make me stop preferring your death over those of your future victims
It’s not dumb problems. It’s very serious problems that emerge in a clash between western values and anti-western values.
Do you acknowledge that those anti-western values may stand in the way of peace ? Do you think it has anything to do with the current situation at all?
When your side is the one that started the war, that makes it pretty dumb to complain about being terrorized by warfare
I don’t think Israel started the war…
Then you're retarded
That doesn't make it less dumb to complain about it
Does insulting me make you feel better?
Anyway, explain how exactly they started the war
Insulting you does not make me feel better, at least not much if at all.
Israel are the occupiers
“Insulting you does not make me feel better” - then why do it then? Why not engage in respectful dialogue?
“Israel are the occupiers” - care to explain what does it mean? How do you determine who occupies what?
A one-word response to centuries of complexity. The ‘Nakba’ happened because Arab states rejected partition and invaded - then lost. The UN offered two states; Jews said yes, Arabs said war. Losing an aggressive war doesn’t make you ‘occupied,’ it makes you defeated. Are Americans occupying Native land? Are Arabs occupying North Africa? The inability to engage beyond slogans shows you can’t grapple with how we determine legitimate sovereignty.
Your reply here is very silly
Fuck Israel
I offered my perspective and questions; you responded with vulgarity and avoided each question. Western civilization advances through reasoned dialogue on difficult topics. Your retreat to ‘Fuck Israel’ perfectly illustrates why some societies progress while others stagnate.

"I can't be in the holy land because of religious terrorists, help me" is also a dumb problem
