wow that’s surprising. didn’t expect it’d be that bad . What’s the minimum wage?

Like $16/hour.
A badly constructed house costs 1 million though.😂
People here love debt. No one has money. Its gross. People here do not live within their means. A very superficial society.
What’s the cheapest rent // housing rate . Hourly rate better than monthly payroll
This will give you an idea.

let me stay suffering in Kenya 🇰🇪 😂
The cost of living in many countries has far surpassed most mid-range income earners.
And it’s only going to get worse with the restart of college debt payments. Most jobs are starting to cut back on employment through layoffs and pausing hiring. There will be seasonal hiring for some jobs, but not like in years past. It’s gonna be a bumpy ride. Plus housing market is almost at a standstill with rate’s holding back new home buyers. Winter is coming.

I serve no master, but he looks like he wants to get rowdy! 😆
All kidding aside, it does not look good. The numbers scare me. The fed has a possible 1-2 more rate hikes. This isn’t going to be the straw, but more like a steel girder.
Minimum wage is 16.65. After taxes etc that will earn you $2135 a month but a one bedroom apartment in a city will cost you $2500 a month. Then add groceries etc on top.
There are opportunities, I owned a business in Toronto for 15 years and I always needed hard working people.
You can probably find some cash work or gig work on the side which will save you on taxes and help you make ends meet.
Depending where you are living now, as difficult as it is to make ends meet in Canada right now, it might still be much better than your situation.
I would love to consider the options if possible. Anywhere is better than my current situation, trust !
