Agreed. I didn’t watch all of it. But plan to finish what I missed.
Unfortunately for some mysterious reason we cannot have a dedicated kind for publishing podcast feeds on Nostr (https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/1093).
Otherwise, in the magical fantasy land in which such an outrageous absurd thing would be possible, we would be able to reference podcast episodes directly from notes in a Nostr-native way.
Every other url renders some type of preview, besides podcasting2.0 apps
yeah but this would be a logical use of NIPs. And we all know NIPS are for endless weird fringe use cases.

With both of these we can reference any podcast on nostr natively. Moving all podcasters to a native nostr podcast host will take a long time and may never happen - which is why the first one is critical.
